Jennie Kim (김제니), born January 16, 1996, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and actress. She gained fame as a Blackpink member and later pursued a solo career.
Raised in South Korea and New Zealand, Jennie joined YG Entertainment as a trainee in 2010. She debuted with Blackpink in 2016 and launched her solo career in 2018 with "Solo," which topped South Korean and international charts. Her later hits, including "You & Me" and "One of the Girls," reinforced her global success.
In 2023, Jennie established Odd Atelier, her own label, and signed with Columbia Records in 2024. Her debut album Ruby (2025) produced record-breaking singles such as "Mantra" and "Spot!" She also gained recognition as an actress in HBO’s The Idol.
