Jackson Dean Nicholson (born October 6, 2000) is an American country music singer and songwriter signed to Big Machine Records, known for hits like "Don't Come Lookin'" and "Fearless (The Echo)".
Dean, originally from Odenton, Maryland, left home at 18 to pursue songwriting and collaborated with Casey Beathard and Luke Dick. He later signed with Big Machine Records in 2021.
His debut single "Don't Come Lookin'" was released in February 2022, reaching No. 3 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. His first album, Greenbroke, followed in March 2022.
"Fearless (The Echo)", the second single from Greenbroke, peaked at No. 11 on the Country Airplay chart in 2024. Dean was also featured on Brooks & Dunn's Reboot Tour.
Dean's upcoming album, On the Back of My Dreams, will be released in September 2024, with the lead single "Heavens to Betsy" released in August 2024.
