Jazeek, a German rapper from Aachen with American roots, rose to prominence in 2021 with a viral TikTok track that sampled Cassandra Steen and Adel Tawil.
During 2021, he released a track with Blunt für dich on TikTok that sampled the chorus of "Stadt." The viral hit garnered 2.6 million views and 350,000 likes, earning him a contract with Universal Music and a chart position of 45 in Germany.
In 2022, Jazeek dropped his mixtape "1709," a blend of R&B, rap, pop, dancehall, and Afrobeat that reached number 95 on the German album charts.
