Biography
Rachel Chinouriri is an English singer-songwriter whose genre-blending sound earned widespread attention after her 2018 single “So My Darling” went viral on TikTok.
Raised in Croydon by Zimbabwean parents, she developed a fascination with British music while growing up and began uploading tracks to SoundCloud at age 17.
In 2019, she released her debut EP Mama’s Boy to critical acclaim, later following it with the mini-album Four° In Winter and the EP Better Off Without.
Her debut album What a Devastating Turn of Events arrived in May 2024, charting in the UK and Scotland, and included standout tracks like “Never Need Me” and “It Is What It Is.”
Chinouriri has toured with Lewis Capaldi and Louis Tomlinson, performed at major festivals like Glastonbury, and collaborated with artists such as Sombr in 2025.
