Blake Shelton is an American country singer, songwriter, and TV personality, known for hits like "Austin" and "Ol' Red." He has charted 40 singles, including 29 No. 1 hits.
Born in Ada, Oklahoma, Blake started singing at an early age and began playing guitar at 12. At 15, he wrote his first song and received a Denbo Diamond Award.
After high school, he moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music. In 1997, he signed a production contract with Sony Music, beginning his rise in the country music industry.
Shelton’s debut album in 2001 produced the No. 1 hit “Austin.” Over the years, his albums have earned gold and platinum certifications, with his 2020 album Fully Loaded: God's Country continuing his success.
As a TV personality, Blake served as a coach on NBC’s The Voice from 2011 to 2023, with members of his team winning nine seasons. He also appeared as a judge on Nashville Star and Clash of the Choirs.
