Biography

Black Sherif is a Ghanaian singer, rapper, and fashion model who gained prominence in 2021 with his songs First Sermon and Second Sermon.

His breakthrough came in March 2022 with Kwaku the Traveller, which topped Apple Music charts in Ghana and Nigeria. Later that year, he released his debut album, The Villain I Never Was, featuring hits like 45 and Soja.

Born in Konongo-Zongo, Ghana, he was exposed to diverse cultures from a young age. He pursued education at Kumasi Academy and later attended the University of Ghana.

Black Sherif has collaborated with artists like Burna Boy, Sarkodie, Stormzy, and Tory Lanez. In 2022, he performed at the MOBO Awards and hosted his debut concert, Mozama Disco.

In 2023, he won Best Hip Hop at the Soundcity MVP Awards and became the first Ghanaian to perform at the UK’s Wireless Festival, solidifying his global impact.
