Benson Boone (born June 25, 2002) is an American singer-songwriter who gained fame through TikTok and his debut single "Ghost Town" in 2021.
His song "Beautiful Things" (2024) topped charts in multiple countries, leading to the release of his debut album Fireworks & Rollerblades.
Born in Monroe, Washington, Boone first discovered his musical talent in high school when he performed at a talent show. He briefly attended Brigham Young University–Idaho before leaving to focus on his music career.
In 2021, he auditioned for American Idol but withdrew before the Top 24. He later gained recognition on TikTok, where Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds discovered him, leading to a deal with Night Street Records and Warner Records.
His debut single "Ghost Town" charted in 16 countries. Follow-up hits like "In the Stars" (2022) and "Beautiful Things" (2024) solidified his success, with the latter reaching number two on the Billboard Hot 100. He has performed on major U.S. talk shows and international stages.
