Biography
Benediction is a British death metal band from Birmingham, formed in 1989, known for their intense and brutal sound.
Their debut album, Subconscious Terror (1990), helped establish them in the extreme metal scene. Their latest release, Scriptures (2020), marked a return to their classic style.
The band has undergone multiple lineup changes, with founding guitarists Peter Rewinsky and Darren Brookes remaining. Vocalist Dave Ingram rejoined in 2019 after a long absence.
