Biography
Sum 41 was a Canadian rock band known for its energetic punk-infused sound and global success.
Formed in Ajax, Ontario, in 1996, the band's breakthrough came with their debut album, All Killer No Filler (2001), featuring the hit Fat Lip, which topped the Billboard Modern Rock chart. Follow-up albums like Does This Look Infected? (2002) and Chuck (2004) cemented their place in the rock scene.
Over the years, Sum 41 released eight studio albums, including Underclass Hero (2007) and 13 Voices (2016), while maintaining a reputation for high-energy live performances. Their final album, Heaven :x: Hell, arrived in 2024 ahead of their disbandment in 2025.
The band earned multiple accolades, including two Juno Awards, and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
