Struggle Jennings, born William Curtis Harness Jr. on May 31, 1980, is an American rapper from Nashville, Tennessee. He gained recognition as a member of Yelawolf’s Slumerican label.
Struggle grew up in the music scene, influenced by his grandfather, country legend Waylon Jennings, and his uncle, Shooter Jennings. He began his career in 2002, selling mixtapes independently.
After serving time for drug-related charges, Struggle returned to music in 2016. He released his album Return of the Outlaw and collaborated with Jelly Roll on Waylon & Willie albums.
In 2019, Struggle and his daughter Brianna Harness released Sunny Days, which reached #3 on the Billboard Blues chart. He also dropped Angels & Outlaws that year.
Struggle continued his success with collaborations, including Outlaw Shit with Adam Calhoun. His 2021 solo album Troubadour of Troubled Souls topped iTunes Rap Charts.
