Though eliminated in the playoffs, he later signed with Panacea Records and released his debut EP, Stand Alone, in 2015.

In 2016, Wallen joined Big Loud and released his debut album, If I Know Me (2018), featuring hits like Up Down, Whiskey Glasses, and Chasin’ You. His second album, Dangerous: The Double Album (2021), broke records by spending ten consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It included songs like More Than My Hometown, 7 Summers, and Wasted on You.

His third album, One Thing at a Time (2023), spent 19 weeks atop the Billboard 200, with all 36 tracks charting on the Billboard Hot 100. The single Last Night topped the chart for 16 weeks, making history.
