Little Simz (Simbiatu Ajikawo, born February 23, 1994) is a British-Nigerian rapper known for her introspective lyrics and genre-blending sound.
She gained recognition with independent albums like A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons (2015) and Grey Area (2019), the latter winning major awards and a Mercury Prize nomination.
Her critically acclaimed album Sometimes I Might Be Introvert (2021) earned the Mercury Prize and a Brit Award, solidifying her as one of the UK’s top hip-hop artists.
Following No Thank You (2022), she explored electronic influences in Drop 7 (2024) and performed at Glastonbury, collaborating with Coldplay on "We Pray."
Continuing her evolution, Little Simz announced her sixth studio album, Lotus, set for release on May 9, 2025, promising another bold artistic chapter.
