Biography
Dominique Armani Jones (born December 3, 1994), known as Lil Baby, is an American rapper who gained fame with his 2017 mixtapes Harder than Hard and Too Hard, featuring the hit "My Dawg."
His debut album Harder Than Ever (2018) peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, powered by the Drake-assisted single "Yes Indeed." He followed up with Drip Harder (with Gunna), spawning the hit "Drip Too Hard," and Street Gossip, which hit No. 2.
Lil Baby’s second album, My Turn (2020), topped the Billboard 200 for five weeks and became the best-selling album of the year. It featured hits like "We Paid" and the Grammy-nominated "The Bigger Picture." His 2021 joint album The Voice of the Heroes (with Lil Durk) also debuted at No. 1.
He won a Grammy for his feature on Kanye West’s "Hurricane" and continued his success with It’s Only Me (2022), which produced three Billboard Hot 100 top-ten hits. In 2025, he released his fourth album, WHAM.
Born in Southwest Atlanta, Lil Baby was raised by his mother after his father left. He dropped out of high school and served a two-year prison sentence before turning to rap, quickly rising to fame.
