Kashus Culpepper, a 26-year-old Navy veteran from Alexander City, Alabama, has developed a unique singing style inspired by Stevie Wonder, Chris Stapleton, and others.
Growing up singing in church, Kashus became a staple in the Alabama and Mississippi Gulf Coast music scene, performing covers and originals five nights a week. Although he enjoyed playing covers, he longed for audiences to connect with his original songs.
Determined to pursue his own music, Kashus moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he became a part of the local songwriting and artist community. He has written several original songs blending country with diverse influences.
