Biography
Ernest Keith Smith (born January 11, 1992), known as ERNEST, is a Nashville-born country singer-songwriter. He has released three albums and written for major artists.
Growing up in Nashville, he was influenced by hip-hop and country legends like Eminem and George Strait. He battled health issues and addiction before pursuing music seriously.
His songwriting career took off in 2016 with Florida Georgia Line's Dig Your Roots. He later wrote hits for Morgan Wallen, Jake Owen, and Sam Hunt.
In 2019, he signed with Big Loud and released Locals Only. His 2021 duet Flower Shops with Wallen gained massive popularity.
ERNEST performed at Stagecoach Festival in 2024 and continues shaping country music with his songwriting and solo career.
