Ed Sheeran is an English singer-songwriter who gained fame with his debut album + (Plus) in 2011, featuring the hit The A Team.
His second album, × (Multiply), made him a global star, earning him a Grammy for Thinking Out Loud. His third album, ÷ (Divide), was the best-selling album of 2017, featuring Shape of You and Perfect.
Born in Halifax, England, and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk, he started writing songs at 11 and later studied at the National Youth Theatre in London.
Sheeran has sold over 200 million records, making him one of the best-selling artists ever. His ÷ Tour became the highest-grossing tour in history.
Beyond music, he has acted in films like Yesterday and runs his own label, Gingerbread Man Records. His 2023 albums, - (Subtract) and Autumn Variations, continue his chart-topping success.
