Biography
Chris Young rose to country stardom after winning Nashville Star in 2006, launching a career filled with chart-topping hits and Grand Ole Opry honors.
Following his win, Young signed with RCA Nashville and released his debut album that same year. He scored early success with “Drinkin’ Me Lonely” and “You’re Gonna Love Me.”
His 2009 album The Man I Want to Be brought his first number-one hits, including “Voices” and “Gettin’ You Home.” The success continued with 2011’s Neon, which featured “Tomorrow” and “You.”
Young’s next albums, A.M. (2013) and I’m Comin’ Over (2015), produced more hits such as “Aw Naw,” “Lonely Eyes,” and the title track “I’m Comin’ Over,” cementing his place in modern country music.
In 2017, Young was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, marking a milestone in his career. Known for his rich baritone and heartfelt storytelling, he remains a staple on country radio.
