Biography
Villain of the Story is a Minneapolis-based metalcore band formed in 2013. They gained attention with their EP The Prologue and later signed with Stay Sick Recordings.
Their 2017 debut album, Wrapped in Vines, Covered in Thorns, helped establish their sound. In 2018, they left their label and released their second album, Ashes, independently.
VOTS is known for blending clean and harsh vocals with intense instrumentals. They have toured extensively, sharing the stage with bands like I Prevail and The Devil Wears Prada.
Their music has evolved, showcasing heavier elements while maintaining melodic depth. Notable tracks include Dragon Sickness, Too Far Gone, and Decay.
