Twenty One Pilots is a Grammy-winning alternative duo from Ohio known for blending genres and topping charts with hits like "Stressed Out" and "Heathens".
Formed in 2009 by Tyler Joseph with Nick Thomas and Chris Salih, the lineup became a duo in 2011 when drummer Josh Dun joined after the others departed.
They self-released two albums before signing with Fueled by Ramen in 2012, with their label debut Vessel earning gold for every track — a rare feat.
Breakthrough album Blurryface (2015) brought massive commercial success, and "Heathens" made them the first alternative act with two top-five Billboard singles at once.
The band continued with albums Trench (2018), Scaled and Icy (2021), and Clancy (2024), and they’ve scored ten number-one hits on the Alternative Songs chart.
