Biography
Old Dominion is a Nashville-based country band known for blending contemporary country with rock and pop, and for hits like "Break Up with Him" and "One Man Band."
Formed in 2007, the group includes Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Whit Sellers, Geoff Sprung, and Brad Tursi—four of whom have ties to Virginia. They started out showcasing songs written for other artists before stepping into the spotlight themselves.
Their 2015 debut album Meat and Candy was followed by a string of successful releases including Happy Endings (2017), Old Dominion (2019), and Time, Tequila & Therapy (2021). In 2023, they released the charting album Memory Lane and continued to tour widely.
Several members also write hits for other stars like Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and Kelsea Ballerini. Their work on “Some People Do” even earned a Grammy nomination.
In 2024, they dropped their sixth album Odies But Goodies, a 31-track set of covers and originals, highlighting both their nostalgic flair and modern appeal.
