Biography

OK Go is an American rock band famous for their inventive one-take music videos, combining quirky choreography with creative visual illusions and engineering.

Formed in Chicago in 1998, the original lineup included Damian Kulash, Tim Nordwind, Dan Konopka, and Andy Duncan. The group released two studio albums before Duncan left in 2005 and was replaced by Andy Ross.

OK Go rose to international fame with the video for “Here It Goes Again,” featuring the band performing a treadmill dance routine in a single take. The clip became a viral sensation and won a Grammy Award for Best Music Video in 2007.

Now based in Los Angeles, the band has continued to push the boundaries of video artistry with elaborate concepts involving zero gravity, Rube Goldberg machines, and optical illusions.

Beyond their videos, OK Go is also known for their catchy alt-rock sound and thoughtful lyrics, blending experimental visuals with accessible pop-rock songwriting.
