Biography
Naomi Sharon is a Dutch singer-songwriter who became the first female artist signed to Drake’s OVO Sound label in 2023.
Born in Rotterdam to an Aruban father and Dutch mother, she grew up in a musical family and was influenced by artists like Sade and Stevie Wonder. Before launching her solo career, she performed in musical theater, including The Lion King and Dream Girls.
Sharon debuted with The Moon in 2019, later gaining Drake’s attention with Breeze, leading to her OVO signing. Her 2023 debut album Obsidian received praise for its emotional depth.
Following the album's release, she embarked on the Obsidian Tour, performing across North America and Europe. In early 2024, she released the single Nothing Sweeter, continuing to expand her artistry.
