Biography

Wet Leg is a British indie rock band from the Isle of Wight, founded in 2019 by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, gaining fame with their 2021 debut single, "Chaise Longue."

Their self-titled debut album topped the UK and Australian charts in 2022 and won two Grammy Awards. They also received Brit Awards for Best New Artist and Best British Group.

Teasdale and Chambers met at Platform One College of Music and formed Wet Leg after years of friendship. Their band name reportedly comes from Isle of Wight slang.

After their breakthrough, they toured worldwide, supporting Harry Styles and performing at major festivals like Coachella. They also remixed Depeche Mode’s "Wagging Tongue."

In 2025, Wet Leg teased their return with new music, premiering unreleased songs in Brighton. They announced their second album, Moisturizer, set for release on 11 July.
