Travis Scott is an American rapper and producer known for blending ambient, lo-fi sounds with hip hop, earning multiple number-one hits and Grammy nominations.
Born Jacques Webster II in Houston, Texas, he signed with Epic Records in 2012 and later joined Kanye West’s GOOD Music as a producer. His first mixtapes, Owl Pharaoh and Days Before Rodeo, led to his 2015 debut album Rodeo, featuring the hit “Antidote”.
His next two albums, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight and Astroworld, cemented his global fame. Astroworld included the chart-topping “Sicko Mode” and drew critical acclaim. In 2019, his label Cactus Jack released JackBoys, followed by multiple Hot 100-topping singles.
In 2023, Scott dropped Utopia, his fourth number-one album, with hits like “Meltdown” and “Fe!n.” In 2025, his single “4x4” debuted at number one, marking another chart milestone in his career.
Beyond music, Scott has partnered with Nike, McDonald’s, and Dior, and launched his own label signing artists like Don Toliver. His 2021 Astroworld Festival tragedy sparked major controversies around live event safety.
