Biography
Quavo is an American rapper and former Migos frontman known for chart-topping collaborations, solo projects, and his role in shaping trap and pop-rap music.
Born Quavious Marshall in Georgia in 1991, he co-founded Migos in 2008 with Takeoff and Offset. The group rose to fame with “Versace” and delivered four major albums, including Culture and Culture II, before disbanding in 2023. Alongside Migos, Quavo gained individual fame through features on hits like “Congratulations” with Post Malone and “Intentions” with Justin Bieber.
In 2018, he released his debut solo album Quavo Huncho, followed by Rocket Power in 2023, a tribute to Takeoff. He also formed the duo Unc & Phew with Takeoff before the latter’s tragic passing in 2022. Quavo's solo work blends melodic hooks with trap rhythms, earning him a reputation as both a hitmaker and a versatile collaborator.
Outside music, he’s appeared in sports settings and pop culture events, including the Eurovision stage and viral moments with artists like Madonna and Lana Del Rey. His influence crosses over from hip-hop into mainstream entertainment.
Despite some controversies and rap feuds, Quavo remains a prominent figure in modern rap. His evolving sound, emotional tributes, and high-profile partnerships continue to define his post-Migos legacy.
